Low Voltage VFD Three Phase Induction Motor
The Low Voltage VFD Three Phase Induction Motor series are new-type speed-regulating motors powered by variable-frequency drive units.
Manufactured with premium materials and exquisite workmanship, VFD series motors feature low noise, high efficiency, wide speed regulation range, high control precision, stable operation, and convenient operation & maintenance. Their mounting dimensions comply with IEC standards. Enclosure protection classes include IP44, IP54 and IP55.
The rating is continuous rating based on continuous duty (S1). Standard voltages are 380 V and 660 V with rated frequency of 50 Hz. Continuous speed regulation is available within 5–67 Hz: constant-torque operation from 5 Hz to 50 Hz, and constant-power operation from 50 Hz to 67 Hz. This motor series is equipped with an independent forced ventilation cooling system (IC416).
For variable-frequency motors driving fans and water pumps, the load characteristics determine that the constant-torque operating range is 25–50 Hz without constant-power range. Therefore, self-fan cooling (IC411) can be adopted upon customers' request.
The construction and mounting types of this motor series include IMB3 (horizontal, foot-mounted, flange-free endshield), IMB35 (horizontal, foot-mounted, flanged endshield) and IMV1 (vertical, footless, flanged endshield), conforming to GB 997 and IEC 34-7 Code for rotating electrical machines – Types of construction and mounting arrangements.
