    Developed by our technical team on the basis of similar products, the S-type diesel-engine driven double-suction split-case centrifugal pump features an innovative structure. It is a horizontal, single-stage and horizontally split pump. It is designed to convey liquids with physical and chemical properties similar to clean water, with the medium temperature not exceeding 80°C. This pump is widely used in process water supply systems, fire protection systems, urban flood control and drainage, and other scenarios.

    Transmission mode

    This pump supports two transmission types: direct drive and variable speed drive. Please specify the motor model, power and rotating speed before ordering, so that we can confirm the specifications of couplings or pulleys.

    Rotation Direction

    Viewed from the pump side, the pump rotates counterclockwise.

    Material Description

    Available materials include copper, cast iron, ductile iron, 304 stainless steel, 316 stainless steel, 416 stainless steel, duplex steel, Hastelloy, Monel, titanium alloy and Alloy 20.

    Operating Conditions

    1. Ambient temperature ≤ 50°C; conveyed medium temperature ≤ 80°C.

    2. For cast iron pumps, the pH value of the medium shall range from 6 to 9.

    3. Maximum density of the conveyed medium: 1240 kg/m³.

    4. A foot valve shall be installed and the pump shall be primed. Maximum suction lift ≤ 6 m; maximum suction pipe length ≤ 10 m.

    Performance Features

    The suction and discharge nozzles are arranged below the pump shaft centerline and perpendicular to the shaft axis. During maintenance, there is no need to disconnect the inlet/outlet pipelines or remove the motor. The standard rotation direction is counterclockwise when viewed from the pump end, and the rotation direction can be customized as required.

    Main components consist of pump casing, pump cover, impeller, shaft, double-suction wear ring and shaft sleeve. The pump shaft is made of carbon steel, while other parts are manufactured from cast iron, cast steel and stainless steel.

    The pump casing and pump cover form the working chamber for the impeller. Tapped holes for vacuum gauge and pressure gauge are reserved on the inlet and discharge flanges. Pipe thread drain holes are arranged at the bottom of the flanges for liquid drainage.

    The impeller has passed static balance test and is fastened on the pump shaft by sleeve nuts, whose axial position can be adjusted via the nuts. Symmetrical blade design and double-side water intake realize automatic balance of axial force.

    Radial bearings are installed in bearing housings at both ends to support stable operation, and are lubricated with grease.

    The double-suction wear ring is adopted to reduce liquid backflow from the pressure chamber to the suction chamber.

    The pump is driven by a motor via a coupling; an internal combustion engine is also acceptable for driving upon request.

    The standard shaft seal is soft packing seal, and mechanical seal is optional. A packing ring is fitted among packing rings to prevent air ingress and provide cooling and lubrication for the seal chamber. During operation, a small amount of high-pressure liquid flows into the seal chamber through the trapezoidal groove on the split surface of the pump cover to form a water seal.
